The Antidote to Cancer is Love and Forgiveness!
This is the last week in the month of October, I hope you have in the past weeks applied and shared the information I provided to keep yourself, your family and friends well; I truly believe “prevention is the cure”. According to the Susan G. Komen Foundation every three minutes one woman will be diagnosed with breast cancer. As I write this article, I know this will not be last time I will be writing on this subject, I also want to remind you to start building a good foundation for your health and that of your family. I will include a recap for you on how you can stay one step ahead of cancer, feel free to cut and post it where you can see it.
Before I summarize I need to introduce you to one of the greatest of teachers of this century Dr Ann Wigmore whose philosophy I subscribe to. Dr Wigmore before her transition in Massachusetts taught people to heal themselves of all sorts of dis-eases including cancer.
According to Dr Ann as she is affectionately known there are two main causes of diseases, poor nutrition and toxicity. Last week we looked at the effect of junk foods on the body, to prevent and overcome we need to do the reverse, which is fuelling the body with nutrition. Health starts in the kitchen and it could benefit the entire family.
Toxicity is as important as nutrition; a toxic body impedes our immune system which is our first line of defense. Our immune system is always standing guard, when it detects a virus or anything foreign invading the body it stands ready to defend against anything that it is not familiar with, our immune stay on the job twenty for hours a day and seven days a week.
Staying Healthy and disease FREE
· Avoid junk-foods think “Plant-Based”
· Choose organic when possible
· Eat consciously
· Increase vitamins D (it is FREE get plenty sunshine)
· Embrace physical activity i.e. walk, yoga, tai-chi
· Super hydrate your body with H2O (water)
· Strengthen your immune system

Do your best to always stay one step ahead of cancer!
"Forgiveness, love and our connection with the Divine is the medicine that is healing the sickness of our time."
J. Artos Roske
I would like to offer another alternative for Halloween, this year instead of chocolate bars, candies, and other junks foods that we usually offer to children that contain no nutritional values; I would like to offer this oatmeal cookies recipe as an option.
Chewy Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
1 ¼ cup organic old-fashioned rolled
oats
1 cup spelt flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup ground almonds
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins
½ cup honey
¼ cup maple syrup
½ cup extra virgin coconut oil
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground allspice
2 teaspoons vanilla
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl with a wooden spoon. Using a hand mixer beat coconut oil, honey and maple syrup in large bowl until smooth and creamy, add dry ingredients to mixture stir, add raisins, cinnamon, allspice, vanilla and stir until well blended. Using a tablespoon place mixture onto ungreased cookie sheets 1” apart, lined up in rows of five. Bake cookies for about 12 minutes, if chewy is what you desire soft or until crispy.
They are simply DELICIOUS, Enjoy!
